A quarter of importance in urban history: St. Catherine's Quarter with its characteristically narrow gardens and long plots. Connected to the renovation and new construction of three new residential houses, the open spaces seek to further the quarter's typical character and to underline the coherence of the buildings. By closely linking the design of gardens and architecture, and by using their characteristic materials. And three areas with different degrees of publicness: a narrow garden zone, oriented toward the street, a shared common court yard that has a direct relationship to the residential units, and an intimate garden area featuring fruit trees.
